The Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CICC) and its members called on Nepal Government to take immediate step in its commitment to international justice and the rule of law by acceding to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) as soon as possible.

Nepal was the target country for the Universal Ratification Campaign (URC) of the CICC and its members for the month of August 2006.

The Coalition has an exciting URC focusing on one country each month, rotating to a different region each time. As part of this important campaign, CICC urges all its members in every region to redouble efforts to ensure universal acceptance of the ICC.
